Hiking car park - Blochhauer Playground – Nature Trail – Ilsestein

From the hiking car park Wanderparklatz in the Mühlenstraße this hiking tour, suitable for children, starts to the Ilsestein. Along the Ilse river, the trail leads you over the bridge to the Blochhauer playground. From there you take the Nature Trail high up to the Ilsestein. Not only for adult hikers, but also for the young ones, it accommodates a checkpoint to get a badge for the Harzer Wandernadel . And also children fill their booklet to become a hiking prince or a hiking princess.

High above the roofs of Ilsenburg, the legendary rock formation "Ilsestein" stretches 160 m above the valley. At the entrance to the summit cross is the "Ilsestein" rest stop. Warm hosts are looking forward to your visit!
