Embark on a total of 9.8 kilometres and 1,205 metres of pure driving pleasure. Suitable for advanced to professionals. The Trailpark Harz is located in the middle of the beautiful nature around Ilsenburg, Darlingerode and Drübeck. Experience the routes together with friends or family. We deliberately do not need a lift. In the Trailpark Harz you can combine the trails with a nice excursion and spend a few days in Ilsenburg.
OPENING TIMES. In order to protect the animals, driving on the route is permitted not earlier than one hour after sunrise and not later than one hour before sunset.
DRIVING THE TRAIL IS AT YOUR OWN RISK! PLEASE ASSESSMENT YOUR LEVEL AND DRIVE CAREFULLY! BEFORE DRIVING, THE READING OF THE RULES IS A MUST! WITH THE DRIVING YOU ACCEPT THE RULES!
In our Trailpark Harz we currently have five naturally built trails. You can recognise the characteristics of the respective trails by our difficulty colours. Not all trails are suitable for beginners. Especially the Jack the Ripper and the Wassertal contain some difficult passages. In order for the mountain guard and the rescue service to enjoy their days off, we ask you to use your services in a forward-looking manner and not to endanger yourself and others.
All trails can be reached via normal access routes. It is best to park at the Harzlandhalle and from there follow the path to the centre. In the centre there are a bikeshop and a workshop of Bikes & Parts on the Marienhof. If you want to check your bike again or have forgotten your protectors, you are always welcome there. Once you reach the Ilsetal, follow the signs to Plessenburg, a great forest restaurant. Once arrived, you can relax here and take a short break before heading into the trails. Those who do not want to take the steep ascent to Plessenburg can also reach the Kammweg and the Jack the Ripper via the Tänntal (Darlingerode, parking at the Sandtalhalle).

Ilsenburg is easily accessible both by car and by train. The A36 as a connection between the A14 and A7 makes your journey much easier. The station in the village is regularly served by private railways.
On the A36 take the exit Stapelburg/Ilsenburg.
Since the Ilsetal is always a bit crowded on weekends, we recommend the free parking at the Harzlandhalle (Harzburger Straße, entrance to Ilsenburg). From there you ride by bike for five minutes into the Ilsetal. Here the way starts over the Plessenburg castle towards the following trails: Wassertal, Jack the Ripper, Kammweg. A less steep way is also possible via the Tänntal. Here you can park at the Sandtalhalle in Darlingerode (Schützenplatz 16, Darlingerode). From there you can reach the following trails: Kammweg, Jack the Ripper.
